Due to the high shipping cost I ended up having this piece shipped to a relative in China. I was due to visit but was surprised to see that it had come all folded even though there were warnings that this should never be folded. The overall quality is good but one of the clasps was missing - the piece is still wearable but one of the wing clasps being missing is such a bummer because of just how expensive this piece was. The bones of the bat wings are super folded up and warped so I'm going to put some pressure on it and see how it goes.

PLEASE READ FULL REVIEW!!! Will be breaking down the experience purchasing this product in parts. And to preface: This was my first experience purchasing from this website 1)Shipping This item has warnings all over it's purchase page that it will be shipped in a long box to prevent damage, and because of that the shipping price is slightly inflated. This item was a pre-order that was up before tariffs so I am unsure if something changed, but instead of being shipped with the provider I chose, it was through a different service and was received in an 8.5inch by 6 inch by 4 inch box. Everything was folded into it, despite the mention that the wings wouldn't be folded. I paid USD$199.00 for SHIPPING ALONE, so I am quite upset that it did NOT arrive via the shipping provider I chose, nor in a box adequately sized to prevent the wings from being folded. Something may have changed in that regard due to tariffs, but it would have been nice to know that with some form of e-mail. I paid a grand total of USD$295.77 (including a customs/duties fee) for this to get to my door in Canada, and that price doesn't feel fully justified considering the state of the shipping. 2)Item quality The corset itself is actually fairly good quality. It's labeled to be fishboned but this shouldn't be mistaken for any form of firm boning for a corset. It is definitely more of an outfit/cosplay piece rather than an actual waist sinching or training article of clothing. The materials everywhere for the most part are very stretchy and easy to be comfortable in. I was worried about sizing due to Chinese measurements running small, but the size I ordered after referencing the size chart was perfect for me. The hardware all over the piece feels very good and all the clasps hold together strong, so I have no fears of anything getting weak with time or use. The straps and wings are removable with these sturdy clasps and in better ways that I assumed because they aren't all visible in the product pictures. I have yet to attach and wear the wings as I currently have them laying flat with pressure on them so the folds from shipping can dissipate, but I do have hope that they will look good as everything does seem to be a 1 to 1 with the product photos. Overall the quality of the materials feels more worth it than the USD$77.99 price tag, and I am excited to wear this piece, but it definitely does not feel worth the total USD$295.77 that I spent in the end. 3)Overall thoughts I am a little bothered that I spent so much for shipping and the product arrived the way that it did. I can't recommend pre-order products from this website for everyone due to the lack of reassurance for where any larger shipping fees may go, but at the very least in regards to the product itself, I am very happy with it and will be enjoying wearing it. I want to assume it isn't fully the companies fault for the shipping state because, again, this was purchased before the current state of tariffs was implemented. But it still makes me wonder where the rest of the USD$199.00 shipping charge went. Buy at your own risk, but do know that you won't receive a Barbie doll sized article of clothing no matter how small the box may be hahaha
