Cute. The material isn't scratchy, it's properly elastic and seems sturdy enough for what you pay. The length is indeed adjustable and the calf elastic is solid as well. It slides a bit if pulled up too high but that's mostly because I'm tall. I got them in white and it's a very bright white.
