The skirt was true to colour, although the shirt was not. It was an off white creamish colour but still nice.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this set, given its price! I bought the long sleeved blouse in XL, and while the shoulders and torso fit, the sleeves were just slightly too short for my arms (I'm 5'8"/173cm tall). The skirt itself is perfect and just as advertised, the hem ending at a little above mid-calf. My only issue is that I wish the straps were adjustable, as they would fall off my shoulders sometimes because the elastic of the waistband caused the whole skirt to ride up. There were also some stray thread ends that I had to snip off on both the skirt and blouse, but that's a very minor issue. I wish the skirt's circumference was wider, because it doesn't fit my narrow crinoline. I can fit my less-layered petticoats underneath it to give it a good rounded look, but I think it was made for a more casual silhouette, because I can't fit much poof under there. The dark green, which is the color I bought, is rich and pretty, and looks like the photo. It is very dark, though, and the greenishness of the shade is only really visible in brighter light. I like the subtleness of it, but I do wish the color was as visible as its dark blue and wine red counterparts. If I did not wear the ribbon pendant with it, or other green accessories, the green of the skirt wouldn't be noticed at all, I think. The black ribbon that is meant to be tied to the waistband had frayed ends, which I had to seal with seam glue. The ribbon itself is a regular fake satin that you can find in any craft store, which I thought gave my coord a bit of a cheap look, so I ended up switching it out with my own ribbon. Subpar ribbon quality aside, the fabric of the blouse and skirt are great! Thick and high quality. I often worry about light colored blouses, and whether they'll be truly opaque. This blouse's fabric was wonderfully crisp while still being comfortable, and perfectly opaque! I didn't even have to wear an undershirt, that's how good the blouse's coverage is. I will say though, the color of it is a richer cream than what's shown in the photos. I thought it would be a warm off-white, and what I got instead was more like a soft, peachy beige. I'm not mad at it all, I rather love it, but it was still a bit of a surprise when I opened my package. Shipping was faster than I expected, arriving in a little more than a week. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase, and I can't wait to properly wear it out and about!
